Classroom Blessings

At the start of each school year and again in January, we celebrate Classroom Blessings - a special tradition where each classroom receives prayers and well wishes for a year filled with growth, kindness, and learning.

1st Grade 50th Day Celebration

Our 1st graders had a blast celebrating the 50th Day of School! Fun games, creative projects, and lots of laughs made this tradition extra special as we mark 50 days of learning and growing together.

2nd Grade Saints Wax Museum

A cherished 2nd grade tradition, the Saints Wax Museum has students researching a saint, creating a vibrant poster, and dressing up to “come to life” and share their stories. This hands-on project builds curiosity, public speaking, and appreciation for the saints’ faith and courage.

All School Mass Alter Servers

In September, Principal Celene Little cut the ribbon at St. Ann Catholic School, surrounded by special guests including Bishop Martin, Father Reid, Mr. John Shae Jr., Dr. Gregory Monroe and others who played a key role in the school’s summer renovation. The updated classrooms and improved facilities highlight the school’s commitment to providing an inspiring learning environment.

Teacher‑Led After‑School Clubs

Our teacher‑led after‑school clubs offer students enriching opportunities to explore interests, build skills, and connect with peers beyond the classroom. Guided by our St. Ann teachers, these clubs reflect a variety of themes - from art, sewing, cooking, rugby and many more - providing hands - on experiences that spark creativity and teamwork.

5th Grade Regions Project

Our 5th graders explore the country’s regions through research, poster boards, diagrams, and class presentations - some even dress like their region!  This hands-on project builds teamwork, creativity, and public speaking skills while bringing learning to life.

Spanish Class - All Souls Day Project

Students in Spanish class created beautiful butterflies to honor loved ones for All Souls Day, blending art, reflection, and cultural tradition in a meaningful project.

Recess

All students enjoy outdoor recess, a time to play, move, and connect with friends while recharging for learning.

STEM Wonder Workshop

All grades dive into our STEM Wonder Workshop, exploring science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on projects and fun challenges that spark curiosity and creativity.

Kindergarten Saints Parade

Kindergarten students celebrate faith and fun in the Saints Parade!  Each student chooses a saint to honor, dresses up, and parades into each classroom singing “When the Saints Go Marching In.” This beautiful tradition introduces students to the lives of the saints while fostering community, creativity, and school spirit.

Prayer Partners

Each grade at St. Ann is paired with another as Prayer Partners, connecting through fun activities, community events, and special traditions like Friendsgiving. This program fosters friendship, mentorship, and a sense of belonging while encouraging students to support and pray for one another throughout the year.

Students welcomed the Daughters of Charity during Vocations Week to learn about vocations.

Our Library Program engages students in lessons and independent reading while teaching key skills like navigating the Dewey Decimal System. PreK/TK enjoy reading time, Grades K–5 take part in lessons and book checkout, and Grades 4–5 build research skills using resources like World Book Online.
