Celene Little, Principal
Celene grew up in Big Stone Gap, VA and received her bachelors in elementary education from Belmont Abbey College, a master’s in special education from UNC-Charlotte and a Certification in School Administration from UNC-Greensboro. She has had a diverse career in education, from teaching at St. Mark’s (currently LifeSpan) to directing early intervention programs in York, Chester and Lancaster counties in South Carolina. She was a Learning Support Teacher at St. Ann for 9 years, Assistant Principal for 2 years, and began as Principal in 2023. She is also the proud mother of four children who all attended and graduated from St. Ann, Holy Trinity, and Charlotte Catholic.
Anna Owens, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Owens graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville where she double majored in Theology and Humanities and minored in Philosophy. After graduation, she worked in the UK at the Maryvale Institute, where she supported further and higher education catechetical programs, and earned a Masters in Catholic Theology. She has been a high school theology teacher for many years, most recently at Charlotte Catholic. Anna completed her Masters in Educational Leadership through the University of Notre Dame in July 2024. She is a Minnesota native. She and her family are members of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Gastonia and she considers herself blessed to be part of the beautiful faith community that is St. Ann’s Catholic School.
Nicole Barletta, Advancement Coordinator
Mrs. Barletta serves as the Advancement Coordinator at St. Ann Catholic School. A graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was born and raised in Massachusetts and has a passion for Catholic education and community engagement.
In August 2025, Mrs. Barletta and her family relocated to the Charlotte area. She and her husband are the proud parents of a daughter and son who attend Charlotte Catholic High School. Mrs. Barletta is honored to be part of the St. Ann community and enjoys supporting initiatives that advance the school's mission and foster a vibrant, faith-filled environment for students and families.
