Campus & Facilities

Built in 1955, St. Ann Catholic Elementary School is located just south of uptown Charlotte. The two-story building has a capacity of over 400 students with 16 general education classrooms for grades Pre-K through 5. The school also has a Modified Academic Program classroom and small group learning spaces for Enrichment and Academic Achievement Program classes. Special area classrooms include the school’s library on the upper level and art room on the lower level. The school’s entrance on Hillside Avenue was recently renovated, expanding the front office and reception area to include three administrative offices, a conference room, guidance room, and a dedicated health room. Major renovations to the remainder of the school building are planned for the summer of 2025.

The school has two playgrounds, a large playground for grades 1-5, and a fully enclosed playground for grades PreK, TK, and Kindergarten. Both playgrounds have been renovated in the past two years, adding new equipment and a new turf surface.

St. Ann Catholic School shares its campus with St. Ann Catholic Church. The school uses the parish church for weekly Mass, Adoration, and Confession. The parish’s Allen Center gymnasium and cafeteria are used daily for Physical Education classes and lunch.
